Visas

One requires a Schengen visa in order to visit the Republic of Slovenia, unless you are a European Union (EU) passport holder. The Slovenian Consulate in South Africa does not deal with visa applications. This function is taken care of on behalf of the Slovenian government by the Consular Section of the German diplomatic missions in South Africa as far as South African residents are concerned. The German missions, in turn, provide the service via Visalink in Cape Town, Centurion and Port Elizabeth.
